(Published in the Tonganoxie Mirror on the 8th of October, 2025) CITY OF TONGANOXIE, KANSAS NOTICE TO REMOVE WEEDS Notice is hereby given to the person in charge or control of 506 E. 1st Street , Tonganoxie, Kansas that: 1. You are in violation of the City's weed control law (Tonganoxie City Code Chapter VIII, Articles 1 and 4); 2. You are ordered to cut or destroy the weeds within 10 days after this notice; 3. You have the right to request a hearing before the City's governing body before expiration of the 10-day period; 4. If you do not cut or destroy the weeds, or fail to request a hearing within the allowed time, the City or its authorized agent will cut or destroy the weeds and assess the costs thereof, including a reasonable administrative fee and the City's costs of providing notice, against you; 5. If you do not pay the City's costs within 30 days following receipt of notice thereof, it will be added to the property tax as a special assessment; and 6.
