Key duties of this position include evaluating, implementing, integrating and supporting efficient business, financial, and operation applications and processes in support of core organizational functions and business processes. Experience with software design and implementation, end-user support, SQL databases, SQL query writing, ad-hoc report writing using software such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, and/or Business Intelligence, and Microsoft Office Professional applications are essential. MUNICIPAL SERVICES AND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION STARTING SALARY: $16.38 PER HOUR RESPONSIBILITIES The Solid Waste Loader will perform a number of routine manual heavy labor tasks in the collection, recycling, and disposal of commercial and residential solid waste (trash, recycling, and yard waste). This position is responsible for performing such tasks in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. Additionally, provides cleanup and routine maintenance of the division's equipment. QUALIFICATIONS Requires the ability to work holiday shifts and Saturday shifts as scheduled. Experience in physically demanding labor in the outdoor environment is highly desired. Must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 80 pounds constantly throughout the workday and have ability to withstand exposure to extreme and variable weather conditions.
